1  Our 50th Year Union ±è¿ë¿ì 184 2005-02-18
Dear Friends:

I trust all of you returned home safely with joy and peace except Jai Young who is attending AIME Convention in S.F. 10 members attended the Union.

We all enjoyed friendship, tours, gatherings and food. We find ourselves that we were reconnected and rekindled our companionship. It was indeed a marvelous reunion. Forty three years of separation could not break our ties. When we departed after the last breakfast, I saw wet eyes in almost everyone. Although we do not know when we all meet again, everyone said we would meet again.

On this occasion I want to express my heart-felt appreciation to those who made this reunion a memorable event by going through each day:

Day One:
Inhi provided rides to Je Hyuk & Kyun-Hyon Couples.
Mrs. Young Kyu Kim brought a lot of water bottles and pre-selected refreshments.
I understand the selection of nuts was time-consuming but they were delicious.

Day Two:
Hyo Sung treated everyone for brunch.
Young Kyu treated all of us for the Welcoming Party Dinner at a Korean Restaurant.
Je Hyuk presented wonderful memories and jokes at the Welcoming Party.
Kyun-Hyon brought gifts of Sesame Oil specially made by Korea Univ. for everyone.
Je Hyuk brought gifts of Seaweed, CDs of Na Houn-A for everyone.

Day Three:
We had a group tour of Zion Canyon.
After the tour we had Kyun-Hyon's dinner at a Chinese Restaurant which was appreciated much.

Day Four:
Yong-Kuk treated us for lunch.
We had a Japanese dinner hosted by Yong-Wu

Day Five:
Young Kyu treated lunch for every lady who went shopping.
Kyun-Hyon provided lunch for those who toured Hoover Dam.
We went to the same Chinese Restaurant (for its excellent dish) hosted by Jai-Young.

Day Six:
Chong Up treated us for breakfast before departing.

I may have missed one or two. But I was moved by the generosity, kindness and warm hospitality by everyone. In particular, I must say that all the spouses who came with their husbands are wonderful, gracious, generous and beautiful.

See you soon.

Yong-Wu
